February and March, 2025

We honestly did nothing noteworthy in February this year, but here is a look at our March:

Autumn and Teddy bought a house in American Fork that is only 10 minutes away from us and we love having them so close! We helped them move from their apartment in Provo to their new house at the beginning of March before driving to Idaho to be there in time for Logan's baby blessing:

We spent a few days with the Patricks in Idaho and loved spending more time with them. We helped move Evan to his big boy room, ending a month where he gave up his binky, learned how to use the potty and moved out of the nursery. He is getting so big!!

Autumn and Teddy took a trip to England to visit with Teddy's two British grandmas. They had a great time exploring the English countryside around Manchester and also visited Liverpool and London. And they loved spending time with Teddy's grandmas and with other family and friends in the area.

The Patricks came to Utah in mid-March for a weeklong visit with Mitch's family and to be in town for their niece's baby blessing.  Early on in their visit here, Evan slipped on the stool he was standing on to help Mitch make dinner and caught himself on the hot glass stove. He had serious burns all over his left had and Megan took him to the ER in Orem for treatment. They had to sedate him to treat and bandage the burn. The next few days were pretty rough as Evan was in a lot of pain, but after several days of treating the burn, bandaging, visiting doctors (including a visit to the burn unit at the University of Utah hospital), his hand began to heal. He is now doing so much better and doing physical therapy on his hand to prevent scar tissue as it continues to heal. We are grateful he is healing!!

We had fun playing with Megan and the boys while they were in town during the daytime when everyone in the Patrick family was busy. We always love time with our grandsons!!

I took a weeklong trip to Springdale with Michelle to quilt, hike, eat yummy food and enjoy a few days of scheduled friendship. This time we actually took a few pics!!

To round out the month, we went to see "The Prince of Egypt" with Devin, Beth and Marcus at Hale, which was amazing as always!!

And then Bryce and I went to a chocolate making class at Just Add Chocolate where we made all sorts of yummy chocolate treats - so fun!!

That's it for now!! :)
