June was an eventful month for us! Autumn and Teddy were unofficially engaged in May and we spent much of June making plans for their wedding in October. Autumn invited all of her siblings to go wedding dress shopping with her and we had such a great time together! Here's a pic of us waiting for Autumn to come out at one of the shops and a couple of pics of wedding dresses Autumn will NOT be wearing at her wedding. :)
Megan, of course, came from Boise to go wedding dress shopping and so we got to spend a few fun days with her and Evan. We took Evan to the Thanksgiving Point gardens to see the life sized animatronic dinosaurs and he LOVED them!! He would name the ones he knows the names for and roar back at them when they roared. So fun!!
Devin and Levi celebrated Pride month by walking in the Pride parade with Levi's company. Kassie and Nora also went to the parade and celebration and they all had a great time!
Bryce and I drove to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National park in Colorado for a quick trip. We had a great couple of days exploring the canyon, enjoying the amazing views and going to hikes and picnics. We spent the first day exploring the Southern rim of the Canyon and driving down to the bottom of the canyon for a picnic by the Gunnison river.
We also drove to some amazing viewpoints before thunderstorms rolled in and we decided it was probably a really good idea to not be at the top of a 7,000+ foot mesa in a thunderstorm.
On June 23, Teddy surprised Autumn with a fun proposal and they are officially engaged! We are happy to be welcoming Teddy into our crazy family. We celebrated that evening with a small party at our house with immediate family and friends.
Devin and Levi continued with practices for "Mamma Mia!" and sent me pics of one of their dates to Classic fun center.
Megan celebrated her 30th birthday with a fun trip to build a bear! Never grow up!
Bryce and I went to a performance by the Utah Symphony at Thanksgiving Point. It was so fun!!!
It was a good month!!
