We also took Evan to the Museum of Natural Curiosity with Bryce's mom while Bryce's sister Tami was in town. Her daughter in law, Miriam, and her grandson, Peter, also joined us and we all had a fun time together. Evan loves exploring!
Bryce took Evan on his first lawn mower tractor ride and he loved it! Baba is 100 percent Evan's favorite person these days.
Bryce and I took his mom, Autumn and Teddy to the tulip festival on a gorgeous spring afternoon. It was beautiful as always!
Autumn and I drove to Idaho Falls on April 16 to be able to be in the temple with her cousin Logan Finch when she received her endowment. It was a beautiful experience to be there with a bunch of our family. How we love going to the temple!
While Autumn and I were in Idaho, Bryce drove to Moab with his brothers to spend a few days mountain biking and jeeping. They had great fun and Bryce came away even happier that he has his jeep. :)
In random happenings, Devin and Levi sent me this picture of them in the train at Provo mall, and Megan sent a picture of Evan enjoying ice cream on the cruise they took with Mitch's family to Mexico. They had a great time on their cruise!
On April 23, Nora, Bryce and I took off for our long anticipated trip to Munich, Salzburg and Vienna. We had so much fun, saw a crazy amount of amazing art and too many cathedrals to count and just really enjoyed some fun time together.
We started the trip in Munich, Germany where we visited the Marienplatz with its dancing glockenspiel, the Munich residenz, and some really good art museums. We also spent a few hours at the emergency clinic since Nora was pretty sick with what we thought was a sinus infection, but turned out to be a virus that would infect all 3 of us by the time we got home, but we pushed through and had a great time anyway. :)
We also took a day trip from Munich to the Bavarian Alps to visit Neuschwanstein castle and that was an awesome day! The scenery around the castle is just breathtaking and the castle itself is amazing!
We then traveled by train to Salzburg. We all loved this small city nestled in the mountains of Austria. We explored so many cathedrals, catecombs, the medieval fortress atop the hillside, Mozart's birthplace and street markets. We also went to the oldest continuously operating restaurant in Europe. It has been serving food since the 1100's. :) So so fun!
We also took a Sound of Music bike tour that was definitely one of our favorite parts of the trip. We loved riding bikes all around Salzburg, seeing familiar sites from the Sound of Music movie and especially being able to ride bikes into the gorgeous countryside around the city of Salzburg.
After Salzburg, we traveled by train to Vienna where we spent the last 3 days of our trip mostly exploring art museums and cathedrals. It was so fun to get to see art and cathedrals with Nora who has such a passion for art and an uncanny ability to remember things she has studied and learned and would share with Bryce and I. It was such a great trip! We also got tickets to see an opera at the Vienna Opera house and that was a super fun experience as well.
Bonus pic of us at the Schonbrunn zoo in Vienna. :)
