Bryce and I went to see the play "Clue" at Hale Center Theater on the same night that Devin and Levi also had tickets. We enjoyed dinner with them before the play and the play had us laughing out loud. So fun and funny! We all loved it!
Autumn and I took a short trip to Idaho from Feb 14-17. We were happy to survive the drive through torrential rain at night and were glad it wasn't snow. :). We love visiting the Patricks - they always make us feel so welcome! And Mitch's cooking is so good! And of course, who wouldn't love spending time with cute Evan? We went shopping and to lunch and took Evan to a music and movement class at the library where he was not quite sure about what was going on. He is an observer in new situations, for sure. But he entertained us plenty with his dance moves at home. :)
At the end of February, my companion, Sara McGill, and I finished BYU-Pathway Connect with another group of students. We grow to love our students so much over the 6 months that we work with them. Serving as a BYU-Pathway missionary in Central Africa is such a blessing to me!
Bryce and Autumn went skiing at Sundance on a perfect powdery ski day. They had a great time together!
Bryce and I have always loved that we got engaged on Leap Day so only get to celebrate this special day once every 4 years. For our 8th engagement anniversary this year we decided to do something special. We traveled to Midway where we went on a snowshoeing hike to a heated yurt where we enjoyed a delicious gourmet dinner and roasting s'mores on the fire outside before making the snowshoe trek back. It was such a fun date! We are so glad we decided to spent eternity together 32 years ago today. Best decision ever!
That's it for our February! We also had various YSA activities including a really fun Valentines Party and our Ward Conference that Bryce was so happy to survive since it was his first one as a Bishop. :) We also loved any time we got to spend with friends and family. Autumn and Devin are doing so well in their university studies and Nora really loves her internship in SLC. She is now trying to decide if she will actually go to school to pursue her PhD in Sociology or take a while off from school and work full time instead since she has discovered that she really enjoys working in the Data Analytics field. We will keep you posted!
