June started with Autumn doing her 10 days of home MTC. I have to say that we loved the experience of watching Autumn go through her first few days of MTC classes while still having time with her when she wasn't in class. She grew to love her companions, district and teachers before ever leaving home and Bryce and I loved hearing stories about what she was learning and seeing her testimony grow so dramatically in such a short period of time. It was a super cool experience!!

Then on June 8, the day came when we had to take her to the Provo MTC and drop her off. We had a yummy sushi lunch at Tsunami before heading to Provo where we went to the temple to take a few pictures before going to the MTC parking lot to drop her off. Through a miraculous turn of events, Autumn was greeted at our car by one of her best friends, Emmy, who had entered the MTC for her own mission a week before. It was a sweet tender mercy and we are so grateful!
Bryce and I immediately went to a movie and then went to see the animatronic dinosaurs they have at the Thanksgiving Point gardens so we would have something to do and wouldn't have to go home to an empty house. :)
Autumn very much enjoyed her time in the MTC and we loved hearing from her and getting pictures of her while she was there.

Bryce and I went to see "High School Musical" at the Scera outdoor theater in Orem. One of my Laurels, Alathia, was in the play as one of the skater kids and she did an awesome job! We were impressed with her solo part in the "Status Quo" number as well as the rest of the show - it was really good and a super fun night out.
My sister Kim came to town for a week, mostly to visit her new granddaughter and we had a meet the new baby shower for Kim's daughter, Bethani. It was a fun time and another good excuse to get together with family. We are blessed with an awesome family for sure!
Devin and Levi did a few fun hikes up Logan canyon and had a really fun adventure when they went tubing with some friends. Oh, and Devin decided to change his look a bit by dying his hair blue.

Megan celebrated a birthday with her favorite dessert, cheesecake! She also stayed busy by continuing to grow their little baby Patrick. We are all looking forward to meeting him in the next few weeks!
Devin and Levi came to Highland for a weekend. We went for a hike to Horsetail falls together and had a great time! Then we took an awesome group of family and friends to see "Singing in the Rain" at the Hale Center theater and it was so so good! They made it rain on stage hard enough to have puddles to splash in. The music, choreography and acting were all excellent and it was a really fun night out.
Frankie has been acting pretty odd this month. He has started pulling tufts of his fur out and then one morning, he brought this bird he had killed to the back patio and then ate the entire bird even though he has 8 teeth left. Then that same day, Bryce and I came back from the temple to find him waiting for us, staring at us as captured in the second picture below. We think we might be next.
Just kidding (I think). He is still really sweet. But weird.
On June 23, Autumn left the Provo MTC and traveled to her assigned mission in Winnipeg, Canada. She loves her mission president and her trainer, Sister Dilling. She is also serving in an area that is close to the mission home, which she is happy about since her mission is 22 hours driving from one end to the other. She is in for some fun adventures over the next 18 months!
Bryce and I got to go on a RZR adventure up AF Canyon and up over the mountain to Midway with a group of friends to celebrate one of our friend's birthdays. It was a super fun adventure and reinforced our knowledge that we live in a beautiful part of the world.
That's it for our June! :)
