Before I tell about our December, here are a few pictures from Seth and Delaney's wedding festivities last month:
Such fun fun times!!!
In December, we got lots of much needed snow. Other people might hate snow and I'll admit that I get tired of it by the end of winter, but I love how snow makes home feel so cozy and makes the world look soft and quiet.
Frankie loves stalking the birds at the bird feeder and will even jump into the window over and over again trying to get to them. He's not bright, but he's cute and we love him.
Bryce and I went to several Christmas parties for work, church and with our neighbors and friends. Always a fun time of year. And my besties Berit, Mari, Michelle and I got together for our annual "Christmas dinner/friends gift exchange". We have been friends for more than 20 years now!!
Bryce and I also attended a few Christmas shows. We went to "Christmas around the world" at BYU to support a couple of our YSA ward members who are on the folk dancing team and had a wonderful night watching dancing from all around. We also went to cheer on one of our favorite friends, Alathia, as she made her stage debut in Lehi Arts Council's production of "Elf - the Musical". We were pleasantly surprised at how good the production was and loved the story and the actors. Great job Alathia!!
We had another really fun night with family and friends when we celebrated Devin and Levi's wedding on December 18. They found this really cool venue in Provo and we had a fun time visiting with family and friends, eating some yummy cake, celebrating Devin and Levi and of course, DANCING!!
Megan and Mitch were spending Christmas with Mitch's family this year, so Megan had us all open the gifts she had for us a few days before Christmas so she could be there. She designed and stitched these beautiful temple cross stitches for Bryce and I and one for Grandma Ririe, too.
Then she had an extra special Christmas gift for Autumn. You'll have to watch the videos to find out what it was:
We took Grandma Ririe to see "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" at Hale Center Theater and loved the production. They always do such a good job!
Seth and Delaney flew to Oregon for a week before Christmas and celebrated their honeymoon at the beach house. They had a great week together and got home just in time for Christmas. We had a fun Christmas Eve and morning with just Seth, Delaney, Autumn, Bryce and me since Devin and Levi spent the holiday with Levi's family in Idaho. I didn't take many pictures because I forgot, but here are a couple:
For one of their Christmas presents, I took Delaney, Megan and Autumn to the gem studio where we each made a ring using agates we have found at the Oregon coast over the years. We had so much fun creating our rings and spending some fun time together.
That's it for our December and for 2021. Here's to an amazing year to come!
