February 2023

Here's a belated look at our February:

Bryce and I took a Saturday trip to the BYU Museum of Art and then attended one of our good friends, Cassie Hyatt's senior vocal performance, which was amazing!!  That evening, we went to "See How they Run" at Hale Center Theater, which wasn't our favorite performance ever, but still good.

We drove to Idaho for a week and enjoyed some time with Megan and Mitch and also, baby Evan.  Okay, we mostly went to spend time with Evan (who turned 6 months old this month), but we also really enjoyed time with Megan and Mitch as well.   Enjoy these pictures of our darling grandson:

On Valentine's Day, Bryce and I went skiing at Sundance and had a really fun day skiing together.  The mountains are so full of snow this year and the day was beautiful!! Bryce also got me some beautiful roses.

Autumn continued her service as a missionary in the YSA area in Regina.  She has grown to love the people there so much and is learning so much about herself and strengthening her testimony as she shares the gospel of Jesus Christ with the people of Canada.  We miss her, but are so happy she is serving as a missionary.  Getting to video chat with her each Monday is a weekly highlight for sure.

I went to Springdale with my quilting friends for a weeklong quilting retreat.  I got so much done and loved spending time with some of the finest women I know.  And the scenery around Springdale is gorgeous.  While we were there, another huge winter storm hit the entire state of Utah and even southern Utah got several inches of snow. Such a beautiful sight!

Bryce and I met up with Seth and went to a life-sized replica of the Old Testament Tabernacle that was set up on BYU campus as part of its tour.  It was really cool to see the size and layout of the tabernacle and to understand that just like temples today, everything about the tabernacle was designed to point people to Christ.

That's it for our February!  See you again soon for our March update. :)
