November 2011

Here are some of our November blessings:

Having lots of family visits!  Grandma Jan came for a weekend, Grandma and Grandpa Ririe came for several days and Kim and Beth Holloway came for a weekend as well.  We love having family visit us!

Watching Devin perform as Henry Fussy in “Charlotte’s Web”.  He had a lot of fun and we loved watching him perform!

Going to the State 5A Football Championship and cheering the Lone Peak Knights on to their first state championship.  They had a perfect season this year and we had a lot of fun cheering them on.  Go Knights! (Megan was sitting in the student section with her friends.  Notice all 3 of the kids in braces!)

Spending Thanksgiving with family – good food and fun times!

After 2 months of building his plane, we all piled into the car to drive to the field to watch Bryce take his inaugural flight.  About 5 seconds and one broken propeller later, we were done.:)  Bryce realized the elevator control was reversed after 2 more broken propellers.  He has since fixed the problem and we look forward to our next flying adventure.  Stay tuned.

Seeing Devin develop his talent on the guitar.  He had to do a project in English with a 1930’s era theme to go along with the book they are currently reading and decided to sing a version of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” while playing the guitar.  We videotaped his final rehearsal to share with you.  Take a look.

Watching Autumn continue to develop her dancing talents.  She had an in-house convention one weekend where she got to work with some pretty amazing choreographers doing all sorts of different dance styles.  She is getting ready for dance competitions which start in January and also working hard on her party girl choreography for “Nutcracker”.

Seeing all the kids continue to do well in school.  They are busy and happy, and so are we.

Glad to see Devin learning the guitar. He and Chayce will have to play us some songs at our next reunion! Something I wish I had stuck with.
